When shipping items during warm-weather months or to warm-weather climates, we recommend all heat sensitive items be shipped via expedited (2 business day or quicker) service. You can add 6oz cold packs for $1 each to help protect products from the heat, or for better protection, you can add an insulated box (with ice pack included) for $6.50. When you choose the insulated box option, we use thermal cool shield bubble liner to completely line the inside of your box, which helps keep the products and the cold pack(s) colder for longer.
Please ensure during warm weather months or when shipping to warm-weather climates that someone is available to receive the package when it is delivered. On average, ice packs last up to 24 hours and will not last longer than 48 hours. Ice Packs will last the longest when traveling inside an insulated box.
Please consider purchasing ice packs or an insulated box to help protect heat sensitive products (such as chocolate, product with gelatin, and products that contain marshmallow) as the United States Postal Service does not consider melted candy to be a damage claim.
